A judge has dismissed a fifth lawsuit by Jerry Reese to block an Uptown Charlotte baseball stadium in Fourth Ward.  The ruling from Judge David Lee means that all five lawsuits have been dismissed.  Reese plans on appealing on all cases.

The ruling does not prevent Reese from filing future lawsuits and he plans on appeal the latest ruling.

The developer of the poplar unfinished eye sore in Uptown Charlotte has filed for Chapter 7.  Last year the developer, Verna lost control of The Park Condos after defaulting on a construction loan.   The lender foreclosed on the property and BB Syndication Services Inc purchased the property for 14.2 Million at auction.

We had previous blogged about The Park Condos back in August.

Only 10 units remain at the Trademark Condos in Uptown Charlotte, NC.  The developer, Centro City Works has just recently reduced the prices of all the remaining units.  Some examples of the price reduction are.

Unit 1504 2/2 with Den 1192 Sq FT was just reduced from $658,900 to $633,900.
Unit 905   1/1 759 Sq FT was just reduced from $675,900 to $258,900.

April 2009 Uptown Charlotte Condos Report!

There were currently 83 properties on the market with an average list price of $381,722.

3 properties were contingent
1 property were conditional.
10 properties were pending.

There were a total of 9 properties sold for an average of $280,044 and were on the market for an average of 86 days.  The average list price for these units were $302,166.

There were 34 properties withdrawn and 21 expired listings.

The 9 units that were sold for the month were located at Skyline Terrace, Courtside Condos, 2 units at Trademark Condos, 3 units at Fifth and Poplar Condos, The Poplar Condos and Poplar Place Townhomes.
